Welcome to the Severn Ambulance website.

Severn Ambulance was established in 1994 to provide accident & emergency and patient transport services along with event medical provisions to the people of Bristol and the south west.

We operate a modern organisation giving us capability to deliver a comprehensive range of services to meet the needs of the client and patient.

Our Mission Statement is "To embrace the holistic approach to care that meets the needs of the patient and the expectations of the client".

Severn Ambulance can facilitate many requests including planned event cover, patient transfers, emergency response and ad-hoc organ and transplant transport. Where needed we also cater for the more urgent requests from our service users, providing an appropriate response to their need.

We operate our reliable, prompt and curteous service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

As an organisation we operate a private and confidential service under the medical direction and clinical governance of a registered doctor. All patient movements, both non-emergency and emergency are fully covered by public liability insurance. All patient care is also covered by comprehensive medical indemnity insurance.
